About Nehma
is a dedicated secretary and board member with a bachelor’s in biology from Benedictine University. She holds various certifications from Islamic workshops and has volunteered extensively with organizations like the Muslim American Society and CAIR. With 25 years of healthcare experience and five years in community service, Nehma prioritizes outreach that fosters inclusivity, ensuring new Muslims feel welcomed. She champions the Prophetic Duty program to bridge generational gaps and collaborates with local leaders on impactful projects such as feeding the poor and organizing winter drives. Through educational initiatives like the Isra Wal Miraj exhibit, she inspires youth to connect with their heritage while nurturing their interest in STEM through robotics programs. Nehma’s multifaceted approach cultivates compassion and collaboration, making her an invaluable asset for sustainable change. Through this grant, she aims to expand her programs and further enrich the community she serves.
