About Makia

Makia Sheikh is currently at UIC majoring in Integrated Health Sciences, Palestinian American, who loves to give back to her community.

She’s a student of MAS and completed the memorization of the Quran in 2020. She is enrolled in the Orland Park Academy College classes to connect more to Islam, and attain a degree in Islamic law.

She enjoys baking and spending time with her loved ones.

She is also a part of the MAS Palos Park Islamic Center youth committee.

She is committed to giving back to her community members and helping raise a generation that loves our dear Prophet ﷺ.
